Very attractive with holographic stars sparkling when moved around in the light.

Made in Japan.

Shitajiki are thin sheets of plastic. Students in Japan place them between pages of their notebooks to give them a smooth, hard surface on which to write. They help to prevent ink or impressions of the pen or pencil from marking the next page. They fit well in Marble or Composition Tablets used here in the U.S. (This board is longer than the typical board so it will be about 2 inches taller, great to use as a book mark!)

Many also collect them and use them for wall decorations.
